Indigenous Initiatives in Forestry
Our UBC Forestry undergraduate programs are committed to ensuring that Indigenous students have equitable access to educational opportunities across all of our programs and that we work alongside students to address any barriers to participation.
Further, we are committed to creating and maintaining an inclusive and diverse learning, research and work environment that exemplifies the principles of equity and justice across the Faculty. For more than 20 years, the Faculty of Forestry has been developing and implementing its Indigenous strategy to meaningfully engage, support and assist Indigenous students and the wider forest community, and we are immensely grateful to work alongside Indigenous Peoples, communities and organizations to provide quality and accessible forestry education.
